Minutes from Hugo69 Supper Club as submitted by our very own
Paul Lewis
aka: MIO (Man-in-Overalls)
I got to the restaurant at 5:55 and there were already several classmates waiting for the buffet to open up ! I thought that it was a MIO convention, there were three of the critters there. ( MIO Critter Convention! ) You can always tell an agriculture community, the talk was mostly about roads, taxes, cows, wild hogs and grand kids !
Even though we had the "BIG 40th" Reunion last summer there was plenty of excitement about the "mini " reunion we are planing on having this summer. The kids that were in attendance got tired of all the grownup talk and started to square dance.(like I said, it's an agriculture community!)
We had Homeland Security, FBI, CIA, NSA, CSO,HFD and a school crossing guard go over the restaurant looking for Earl, but with no luck. Again,,, later in the meeting, there was a plate of pickles that was discovered to have been pilfered, stolen, made off with,or otherwise taken. The class has decided to offer amnesty for anyone with information that leads to the disclosure of the identity of the culprit.(dirty rotten, no good, dadburned, stinky, polecat of a scoundrel !)
This year the class will have a "mini reunion" on Hugo Lake on the 4th and 5th of June, during the Hugo Homecoming weekend. Both nights will be a potluck come as you are dinner with the emphasis on MIO's favorite dessert,,,' NANNER PUDDIN ' ( OOPS ! ,,, did I say that?) There will be plenty of food, fun and fellowship, so plan on being there. There will be no set registration fee, just a donation box (guarded by that school crossing guard !) so we can plan on another reunion in the future. There will be another meeting of the Supper Club on Friday May 7th at 6pm at the Mustang Grill to finalize any last minute details.(They did have a good chicken fried steak!)
The Hugo High School Class of 1969 hopes that everyone will be able to come in for a visit and a plate of vittles. Remember to pray for our classmates that are having health problems.
Photos will be posted soon. Earl just realized she has lost an hour this weekend and is out looking for it...along with all those missing pickles. Stay tuned...

Mr. Larry Landreth was our 10,000th registered user to visit Hugo69.com.
Any ideas what his prize should be?
Please post them at Message Forum.

Amazing ! The Hugo High School Class of 1967 has almost as many guest members here at Hugo69 as many class websites have actual classmates ! So, with that in mind, here's an official welcome to these upper older classmates. Please note that within the next few hours, the senior yearbook pages for 1966-1967 will have been added to Buffalo Trails. And just afterwards, you may have heard an explosion from the Rocky Mountains. That would have been my scanner crashing to the ground after being tossed thrown from a second story window. It only took two, count them ONE-TWO H.O.U.R.S. to scan seven, count them ONE-TWO-THREE-FOUR-FIVE-SIX-SEVEN pages from the yearbook.
If someone from this class is registered and not pictured below, please contact Kathy. These photos have also been added to your profiles. See what can happen when you don't upload your own photos ?
Know of anyone planning a class reunion ? Scroll to the bottom of this page, click on the Class Creator banner to plan it the easy way. Start your own website ! And, if you do, tell them Hugo69 sent you and CC will send us $50.
There are less than 100 days until our 2010 party happening during the Hugo Homecoming June 4 & 5. Check out a few details at:

Please plan to do some spring cleaning and find memorabilia to share.
We need more "Blasts from the Past" like these:
Larry says he and Mike used a tank of gas a day in a "B" Farmall tractor going from pond to pond that summer. Wonder what the cost per pound would have been for those bass ?
Anyone know the cost of a Hugo Daily News subscription these days?

Does anyone remember being in Mrs. Meyer's Spanish class the day she dropped the casserole dish, the glass shattered and one shard hit Jimboreehee in the lip ?
Please visit 2010 Party.
Please read what's there.
Please know this is not-a-for-sure thing yet. Please fill out the registration form. Please check that you will attend even though you aren't sure. By checking yes, this will give Larry and his crew an idea who is interested.
This information can be edited as late as May 1 when you know for sure if you can really be there.

Only a few more than 100 days left until June 4 & 5 ! What's June 4 & 5 ? Hugo Homecoming ! Many classmates have asked if our class will have a reunion this year, even though it's not an "anniversary-type" reunion. There is no reason not to have one, BUT it does have to be planned. For instance, the first thing that has to be done is locate a place. Larry Lee called about reserving a cabin at the lake again, and there was only ONE available !
He has posted information at: Buffalo Chips & Chat ~ Reunion 2010 Here's the deal Lucille...Many of you are probably tired of being herded like cats by the likes of me. SO, who wants to help 'ol Larry out and plan this thing ? Do I hear any volunteers ? If so, get yourself over to Buffalo Chips & Chat and help with the planning. Earl will continue to post the news about the reunion here so everyone can keep up with what's going on. Step 1: Go to BC&C to read what's already been posted. Step 2: Go find a 2010 calendar and mark June 4 & 5 for Hugo69 Reunion. Step 3: Check out the new link: 2010 Party Step 4: Have a great day ! Earl says so !

By now, most of you have figured out that the last message is posted on the right hand column of BC&C. To find earlier posts, just click on The Forum, and all Topics will be listed there. This is a much easier way to find information like addresses notifications, etc., rather than scrolling back through 10 pages of stories about hobos, gypsies, and bride dolls on the Message Forum. (Remember: BC&C is just in outline form.)

Buffalo Chips & Chat ! Thanks to everyone who has been using BC&C. Several of you have not only been reading here, but you have even posted your own replies and added topics.
This works just like an outline. Remember Mrs. Grayson and Mr. Petty and Mrs. Spear and Mrs. Webb's classes? Didn't we learn how to write an outline in one of their classes?
There is a Forum. Under each Forum is a Topic. You have the option to create a new Topic OR you can reply to a Topic already there. Just play with it. You won't blow up our website. If you don't like what you've written, there is a delete button. Welcome to the HUGO HIGH SCHOOL CLASS of 1969 web-site. It is a work-in-progress and will be updated on a regular basis. Here are a few reasons that it was created:
1) to assist in planning our 40th reunion (and any upcoming get-togethers and future reunions)
2) to locate friends who are hiding from us and let them know about our reunion
3) to reacquaint ourselves with each other so that we recognize each other in June
4) to post photos of the reunion for those who could not attend
The web-site and reunion cannot be successful without everyone's participation.
To protect your personal information, your registration includes an option that allows only registered classmates to view your profile. If this option is selected, search engines and the general public WILL be blocked from accessing your information. Any registered classmate who is logged in, however, WILL be able to view ALL classmate profiles.
Class Creator, our site host, assures us that our site will NOT be subject to advertising, that information posted on our site will NOT be sold or rented to a third party--all information is strictly confidential, and that their spam protection system WILL protect us from spam.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to solely, covertly be an integral part of planning a successful 40th reunion. Your computer will self-destruct in five minutes if you do not add to your profile and sign up to attend.
To those who are just visiting and may be planning a reunion, if you do not have a web-site, may I suggest that you RUN, don't walk, to the Class Creator link at the bottom of this page. This will take you to a step-by-step video that is easy to use. The technical support that you will receive is personal and faster than the speed of lightning. Brad and his crew are there to help you create a tool that will insure a successful reunion.
Sincerely, Kathy Smith Schmoldt
